Sure, it's nice to share snapshots of your life, your garden produce, things that make you happy etc. with your friends. The more such things are shared, the more happiness is multiplied. On the other hand, “A sorrow shared is a sorrow divided...” goes the saying. Well... I'm not sure if that's so true. It becomes my sorrow too when I see people hurting. But that's a good thing. Perhaps then, we can find a solution, or a remedy, a balm to ease that pain.
Anyway... Social media is a practical way of sharing your life with your friends. But call me old-fashioned, I need a REAL social contact. The virtual does not satisfy me. I would certainly appreciate comments and criticism from a thinking-mind. However, you don't get that much nowadays. At least not on the internet. Most surfers are empty crowds. Numbers that I do not wish to collect. I am not in the race for likes. I do not value myself or my life or my writings by anybody's standard but my own. My life is not up for ratings.
